You can find us at St Teresa's Hall, Station Road, North Chingford, E4 7BJ. We're upstairs in the building next to the CO-OP on the corner of Station Road.
No, there are no long-term contracts. We offer a rolling monthly direct debit for your convenience.
There is a small car park outside. If this is full, there is street parking and a pay and display around the back of the academy, which is free after 5pm.
Of course. We offer a free trial to all new students.
Yes! Our instructors are highly qualified with over 30 years of experience in teaching various martial arts. They are fully insured, first aid certified, and DBS checked. You're in safe, experienced hands.
No. Everything is strictly monitored and controlled. You will begin slowly and work at your own pace. You will work with someone else who is also a beginner and we have assistants in class to help you. You can rest at anytime. You will not do any sparring/contact unless you want to. We pride ourselves on looking after beginners.
Wear black sports clothing e.g. t-shirt/shorts/thai shorts and trainers and bring some water with you.
Absolutely! Our classes are designed for all fitness levels, from total beginners to superfit athletes. Our instructors will ensure you're comfortable and gradually increase the intensity as your fitness improves. You can stop and rest anytime, so don't worry – you'll be just fine!
The different classes are as follows:
Adults Kickboxing
These fitness and technique based classes are suitable for anyone wishing to get in great shape in a fun, learning class. We work equally on developing solid martial arts skills whilst building fitness gradually.

Kids Kickboxing
We teach children from 5 yrs -16 yrs. The younger classes are focused on developing discipline, control, self confidence, balance, fitness and self defense skills. Older children also work on developing a high level of martial arts skill and developing life skills.
We can arrange private training sessions if you want to top up your training or want to work on a specific goal. Please enquire for information about costs / times.
Yes, we offer belt gradings three times a year. This helps you achieve your goals as you strive for a black belt and beyond. There are ten grades, so it typically takes about three years to reach black belt. Gradings are done in a relaxed group setting, and it's perfectly fine if you prefer to train without grading.
We emphasise fun during martial arts training. If kids are not having fun they will not come back or be motivated to train. We have over 200 drills and games that increase fitness, build character, teach self defense skills and are FUN! We believe kids should be learning and enjoying themselves at the same time. So fun is our primary focus.
Yes. All classes taught are strictly monitored by our Black Belt instructors to ensure complete safety. All of our instructors attend regular child safety courses through recognised training bodies and are DBS checked. We also operate a recognised child safety policy and an anti-bully policy. All of our instructors are qualified in emergency first aid
When your join you will receive your Fuzion uniform t-shirt. Its then a good idea to purchase your own gloves and pads to use for training in class.
No, infact the complete opposite. Children are taught that martial arts are not to be used as an offensive, but rather to defend oneself in certain situations. Energetic behaviour is channelled into assertiveness to increase the child’s self esteem, improve self-discipline and build character. Our programme also helps the shy child to develop self-confidence and become more confident. We do not tolerate any bullying or bad behaviour.
